This event is run entirely by volunteers including Guild members, and members of the public. We couldn’t run it without over 100 amazing people who help out. Most volunteer shifts are 2 hours long, and in exchange, you get free entry into the fair (an $8 value). Plan to give a few hours of your time to help make this great event possible in 2025.

When do you need volunteers?
During set-up: Friday, September 12, 2025
2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
During the event: Saturday, September 13, 2025
8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
How do I volunteer?

What if I have specific physical limitations?
Just let us know. We have many different volunteer positions to fill.
What if my availability changes after I sign up? (I need to change the time I volunteered, or I’m no longer able to volunteer)
No problem, just let us know! You can submit the form again, with your updated information. Or email volunteer@kwkg.ca.
What is an all-day job?
On event day, we have a few things that just go more smoothly if one person takes charge for the whole day! But you don’t need to attend any earlier meetings of the fair committee (unless you want to!)
You typically have at least one helper at all times, so you will get time for breaks and shopping. These jobs include coordinating the door prize table or ballwinding station, or managing the speaker/fashion show area.
